Stage 5

Fresh-Water Washing

After the stage of temperature activation and before drying Artemia cysts have to be washed with fresh water to get rid of the rest of admixtures and salts. In the course of years we have learned how to do it quickly and with no compromise in quality. Continuous staying of the cysts in fresh water is baleful for them, that is why the whole washing process does not take longer than 5 minutes.

During this stage, the process is controlled by the laboratory assistant. He takes samples and checks the amount of impurities. After the fresh-water flushing we wring out the product in the centrifuges and put it into the drying area of the workshop.
